There is something to be said about the time we’ve spent talking to our Dads. Depending on where you grew up, probably made a difference in the content of those talks. Talks of :

• Why you did not do what your mother said
• If your chores got done 
• Don’t play in the street
• How to skip a rock across the pond
• The easiest way to save time on a project

Father "time" and mother time were different subjects. We saved the "where did babies come from?" talks for her, but Daddy moments were for sports, driving, and "where does that boy live?" kind of TIME. You wanted to make "Father Time" count. Dad was so busy, so when he showed up, you almost had to have a list of things you needed to run past him. Timing with Dad was everything.
